Where are they now: Clay Hilley

You may remember Clay Hilley from the 2015 Opera Columbus production of Pagliacci. The St. Louis Magazine described Clay Hilley as a "wonderful tenor" and the New York Wagner Society awarded him with their highest award The Robert Launch Award. What is Clay up to now? In September of 2017 Clay will perform the role of Calaf in Turandot with the San Francisco Opera. Other engagements in the 2017-18 season include performances with the Metropolitan Opera and Dallas Opera. He just finished playing the title role in Idomeneo with Salzburger Landestheater.

Clay has received his Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education from the University of Georgia, a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Georgia State University, Professional Studies from the Manhattan school of music, and a performer's certificate from the Opera Institute at Boston University.
