You may remember Joshua Dennis from the 2016 Opera Columbus production of La Traviata. Joshua has been described as " a voluptuous, elegant tone in the tradition of Fritz Wunderlich, negotiating Tamino's occasionally perilous tessitura without any loss of warmth or grace. In May of 2017, Joshua will perform with Opera Idaho in their production of Werther where he will play the title role.
He was a district winner and finalist in the northeastern region of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and was the National Association of Teachers of Singing Singer of the Year in 2011. Joshua has a Bachelor's of Music from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is also a former apprentice of Des Moines Metro Opera.
