Mezzo-Soprano Ruby Dibble currently resides in Philadelphia as a student at the Curtis Institute of Music. At Curtis, Dibble performed the roles of Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Marquise de Merteuil (The Dangerous Liasons) and Elle (La Voix Humaine.) Dibble frequented Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center in two concerts under the baton of Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Professionally, Dibble has sung Flora (La Traviata) with Wolf Trap Opera and Berta (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City. Dibble also covered the role of Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro) with the Santa Fe Opera. Dibble was a semifinalist in the 2022 & 2023 Lotte Lenya Competition and was a 2023 Laffont Competition district winner. Ruby will spend this coming summer training at the Aspen Music Festival as a Fleming Artist and will sing the role of Carmen in Bel Canto (Lòpez.) She continues her training in the fall at Juilliard in the Artist Diploma program.
