Wille worked with Michael Harrison in 1983 to develop OC’s Super Slides. At that time, he was a co-owner of a professional photographic lab, and designed a two-projector Kodak Ektachrome system. This system include a simple dissolve unit to project the titles from the light booth at the top of the balcony in the Palace Theatre. After many experiments, they were able to perfect their system, and OC used it until he McNeal Fund at TCF provide the un to buy a digital projector many years later. In 1984, Willie performed in his first opera, Un Ballo, in Maschera where he played the small role of “The Messenger”. In that same year, he performed in Romeo and Juliette, La Boheme and many productions after that. He started working as a volunteer off-stage, and was one of the founders of the Impresarios. Willie was asked to join OC’s Board of Directors in 1988, and has served on it ever since.
