Brooklynn Grace is currently a senior pursuing a BA in vocal music with a minor in theatre studies at Capital University. During her time at Capital, she has participated in many student organizations including Artists’ Alliance (Marketing Chair), Sister Network, and the CU Dance Team. She is currently a proud member of the Capital University Chapel Choir in which she has had performance opportunities including Beethoven’s 9th with the New Albany Symphony Orchestra, the ACDA National Conference in Kansas City, MO, touring the Netherlands and Belgium, and performing in Carnegie Hall. Prior to attending Capital, she attended Columbus State Community College (CSCC) and received her Associate of Arts degree. Throughout her career, she has held leading/supporting roles in school and professional productions including Romeo and Juliet, The Cradle Will Rock, The Color Purple, Kiss Me Kate, Parade, The Barber of Seville (Opera Columbus), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and currently A Tale of Two Cities. She was also one of ten students selected to perform in the first Capital University New York City Showcase in March 2020.
Aside from her performance studies, she has had strong professional and leadership development through campus work study positions. At Capital she has worked as a student ambassador and visit leader in the admissions office. At CSCC, she was also a student ambassador and student ambassador service coordinator in the Student Engagement and Leadership (SEaL) office. She has also been honored to co-emcee and be the first student featured keynote speaker at the Columbus State Collegiate Leadership Conference of Ohio (CLCO) in 2017. When not involved with school activities she is a children’s Sunday school teacher at her church.
