SALON: EVENING WITH NEIL FORTIN

Learn and chat with a Bridgerton-era expert! Neil Fortin, Tosca’s Costume Designer, will talk all things bonnets, hats, design, and mixology! During this event, participants will get an up-close look at the creative process behind bonnet + costume design and how the inspiration of early 1800s Italy tells the story of passion, love, and libations.

Fortin is a UK-based costume designer who hails from Boston, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Boston University with an MFA in Costume Production, and additionally holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Providence College. During the pandemic year, Fortin began his own menswear accessories company called Thomas Fortin Menswear, producing English silk pocket squares, neckties, and scarves. Fortin also owns his own historical millinery company based in Bath, England. He has also worked with Boston’s Huntington Theater Company, The American Repertory Theater, Boston Baroque, The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Opera Omaha, and Guerilla Opera.
