Accepting yourself, accepting those around you, and changing the world around you.
This season, Opera Columbus, will be creating a new virtual path for schools to have more access to our Education program. Our premiere of “Opera in A Dropbox” will showcase Cinderella and will feature a FREE program with a play for the students to develop their acting skills, accompanied by musical tracks with a lead character hosting the show.
In this new adaptation of the classic fairytale, Cinderella overcomes her circumstances and transforms into the person she was always meant to be… which is who she was all along! Featuring new twists, this timeless tale of kindness, love, and self-realization is sure to enchant young—and young at heart—audiences of all ages.

We would be more than happy to provide you access to the Opera in A Dropbox program for you to incorporate in home-learning with your children! However, we cannot at this time, schedule you for the zoom portion of the program. Please reach out to the education staff at education@operacolumbus.org and we will make sure to give you the Dropbox link.
Who can I contact with questions regarding to the content of the program?
If you have any questions upon reviewing the Dropbox, please reach out to our education staff at education@operacolumbus.org or if you would like to know more about how to implement the program into your classroom, please check out the video of the zoom with Joshua Borths at the top of the page.
How can Opera Columbus provide better interaction with my classroom?
In order to best interact with your classrooms, we will require you (the educator) to provide Opera Columbus with a link to your virtual classroom and we will attend as special guests. This option can minimize technological issues compared to having 20+ students logging into a new system.
Is there a limit to the number of slots I can reserve?
Yes, there will be a limit of 2 slots per teacher/educator. At this time we would like to accommodate the most students and schools that we can. If you would like additional slots, please let us know to add you the wait list.
What if I have hybrid A and B groups of students?
As the limit per teacher/educator is 2, the hybrid model should be accommodated accordingly.
Can I choose a different program for each of the two slots?
Yes. You may choose to use any option A, B or C per slot. You will be asked to specify once you solidify a reservation.
When will we find out when we will get additional slots?
These will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Our Education Scheduler will be reaching out to you if you want additional slots and we have open slots after the deadline.
Is there a deadline to reserve a slot?
Due to the current events, we have extended the deadline for reservations until March 15, 2022.
Contact us at education@operacolumbus.org with school information, version option, and date you would like to schedule. Our staff will be in touch to confirm date and time of zoom call.
